Huh?? It makes your underarms dark? What kind are you using? I wouldn't want it to whiten my underarms either. You should look for the invisible deodorant, like Dove. But the most important thing is using it to make sure you are smelling fresh!

I never heard of it whitening the skin. There is skin bleaching cream for that, but I don't think you can use that on that part of the skin. Deodorant is just for hygiene purposes only. However, some cheap brands will leave a white pasty mark on your skin, but usually people don't like that. They would rather is be streak free.

Does the underarm only get dark when you use the deoderant? Or is the underarm dark all the time? The reason I ask this is because my under arms were dark and I found out that is a sign of type 2 diabetes....

i think deodorants really works.each of us has his/her own body ph,so there are people who sweat less and there are those who sweat more.i kinda agree with you that some deos out there can make your underarm darker but you can also find those ones that can whiten it.i think deos are important for hygienic purposes especially for those who sweat a lot which makes them prone to having an unpleasant body odor. happy mylotting!

Hi. I do agree with you based on experience. Deodorants help in making you smelling and feelin' fresh for a day...but I haven't, in my 28 yrs, have encountered a deodorant that is effective in whitening underarms. Some says 'Kalamansi' fruit (like small limes) can lighten underarms..others say that 'tawas' can also have that effect. I haven't tried both straight for a month..so I really cant verify the claims.

the best and most effective home remedy to whiten dark underarms is to use lemon. Everyday, 30 minutes-1hr before taking your shower, take a piece of lemon and rub it on your armpit. stop using deodorant, try using natural crystal, it would really make your underarms whiter.
