How many persons can you handle of a chat at a time?

How much do you use the chatting feature of the internet? Sometimes, many of our friends are online and want to talk to us at the same time.
So how many friends can you handle while chatting. I can handle three persons very well while chatting. If more than that, then I tend to get messed up, forget to response in one for long time and so on. But I can type very fast and handle the chatting well.

I have had a chat with 5 people at a time. I was realy exhausted after that chat. My mind was like crumbing and tumbing during that time period,
I didn't want to make anyone feel that I am not giving time to him/her. I was making excuses to every one that my system is slow and that is why I can't be that quick.
But it was one hell of an experience.

Chatting with 5 people and still lying them with the computer as a reason, hehe funny...Sometimes it is interesting to do such thing and yes it is sometimes better to lie for the happiness of the friends...happy mylotting...

hehehe I know how that feels, but I think I can manage 3-4 chattings, if they don't respond that easily, lol I have to type real fast to keep up the chat with them, one solution I come up is that i try to meet them in a conference, especially if all of us are real life friends, so there is no problem in that hehehe

Yeah I too use the conference chat if all of us know each other. But I have friends from here and there. One can't know that I am also chatting with the other person hehe...Unless he ask, "hey are you talking with someone else." Its a bit to say yes always, so sometimes I say, " NOt really. Just had an important thing to surf."
hmm...Its easy to handle them if they are slow and We are fast. But if all of them are really fast, then its is a big trouble lol....

So you can handle 4 friends and still go on surfing, interesting. I could do it, but I may not be noticing that I have forgot to respond for a long time to a particular friend unless they say, "Hey are you talking with someone else too." Haven't any one said to you like this...

last time when i have not yet a computer
i chat to 2 to 3 hours to check mails and friends.
i can handle 3 to 4 persons in chat while in my lot.
im only average in typing but still can handle this
situation further.i enjoy typing discussion and response
while receiving messages from friends. just like with the group
of friends even tho you are at home.
