Borrowed Wedding Gown

A friend called me up yesterday telling me that she is getting married and asking if I would lend her the wedding gown I used for my wedding reception. I readily agreed. I love that gown but I have no problem other people - especially good friends - use it. I just want them to take good care of it, though, and return it in good already-dry-cleaned condition. What about you? Would you let anyone borrow your wedding gown? Or do you have any reservation about borrowing a wedding gown?

I borrowed a wedding gown for my wedding from a neighbour. I took care of it and gave it bak dry cleaned. A good weddign gown is very expensive in India and I didn't want to spend so much for it for one time use. So, I decided to borrow.

Well I began reding this discussion with a -- why would some one want to borrow a gown. I mean someone would want to make a fantastic gown for self. We dont intend to get married twice. But then hey what the heck. If a gown is good enough why not and especially the borrower returns it nicely cleaned and in the original condition.
