Hello mylotters, In China, it is summer now. To be honest, i hate this season, because it is too hot and makes me feel uncomfortable. In summer, i prefer staying at home to travelling. For me, summer is really not a nice season to go out and have fun. I like travelling in autumn or winter. What about you? Which season do you prefer to travel or it just depends?

I live in a cold country in Europe and winter here is miserable. Therefore I often feel like going off traveling in either November or January. Often due to work I can only travel outside term time. Air fares are pricey in the summer holidays so in that case Easter is my favorite time to travel. This year I went to South Africa in January when it was summer time. Years ago I went to Australia in my summer which was their winter. Summer in my home country can sometimes have hot weather which I really love.

I think that will depend on where will I travel to. Frankly speaking, no matter what season it is, I hope there's sun and clear sky. If it's raining outside than it's sux. What's the point of going to a holiday when you're stuck in the hotel room. Even if I go out, it will be a wet and full of mess journey. No fun doing that.

yes it depends about different places you come so some places are better in summertime and other in winter!! So generally i like to travel in summer because this is the season where it is much possible than other ones during the year but i think also winter will be ok too..in some places i think winter is even better..anyway in many cases it is nice to travel so i don't mind too much about season..oi don't feel particulary uncomfortable in one in particular!!

I don't know in which part of China you live in, but as I know if you travel to north of China it would be not hot. Personally I like travelling in spring, summer and autumn. In spring you can see flowers and blooms, in autumn the colours of trees are more appealing. Here in the summer it's not hot, I feel it's more like the spring of China, also it's a good time to go out.

I am different. I like summer. Because summer means sunshine and it's much more convenient to have a travel without rain. And a bright day will make your photo looks better. I like to have a travel in summer. I don't have to bring a lot of clothes and my bag won't be so heavy:) I love China

Hi , I prefer to travel in winters or in the season between rains and Winters. In summers,I prefer to travel to Hill Stations .However, that is a costly proposition as a lot of people head to the hills in the summers. Regards

Hmmm, all the seasons have something great to offer. Personally though I love traveling in the shoulder season (lol) when rates are lower but the place still has the perks of the peak season. :D

Hi, I'm in Beijing now, and Beijing is really hot now, I don't like the summer here, and it's really not a good season for traveling, so I just like staying in air-condition house, and watch TV. The same as you, I like traveling in autumn, it's my favorite season, I like the weather in autumn. It makes me feel comfortable.

My husband and I prefer to travel in September. The weather has started to get a bit cooler, but is still nice, and all the kids are back in school, so places are generally not as crowded. Makes life much easier and more enjoyable. In addition, since it's the "off season" a lot of places offer discounted rates.

I like to travel during summer. I don't like to travel during rainy seasons or winter because in rainy seasons, it is such a hassle to have your shoes wet or to have to hold umbrellas while sightseeing. I also tried to travel during winter in Canada and New York but I did not enjoy it much too because it was too cold and I was shivering the whole time even if I already wore three clothes underneath my jacket. Summer traveling is a bit hot but I just beat the heat by wearing shorts and spaghetti tops.

I prefer to travel in the spring or summertime because more seems to be available to tourists and more can be seen depending on where you decide to go. I usually go to camping or beach areas for the most part and in the fall and winter it seems to be more relaxing and bumming around time

For me, it really doesn't matter what season it is. As long as it is safe and the weather is fine then that would be the perfect time to travel. In my opinion, this time is the worst time to travel because of storms and the threat of the virus that's spreading like wildfire. It's best to just stay home and watch the news and be prepared.

In our country, dry and wet are the only seasons so I guess I like to travel in dry season. Its really hot in dry season but I don't like being dirty when its wet season. My clothes are getting filthy whenever I travel at wet season and its causing a lot of traffic.

Summer is good to unwind and check out the sites of the countryside. The cool mountain breeze or the sea breeze would be nice to counter the heatwave. Here inthe Philippines we only experience wet and dry season. I guess we do not have a choice then but to travel on dry season because its very dangerous during the wet season right?
