I would clear up the problem first..no sense in spreading it around to others.

No, i would buy a special shampoo and make sure he is ridden of the lice, then i would send him to school maybe the next day.

If I was taking care of a child and recently discovered that that child had headlice or anything else that was contagious, I would make sure that the problem was under control, and then eliminated before I would let the child play with other children, or even been near her/his brothers and sisters.
