I understand nowadays, those teenagers are easily influenced by their peers. Their classmates have PS3, and they want one. Their classmates have a Abercrombie newest fashion T - shirt, they need to get one too. Everything cost a lot of money, and as parents, we have to consider to keep up with the bills. Don't they understand how hard to earn money like that?

Yes teenage is like that. It is a passing phase of life but a very important time when one needs a little check and accountablity also along with money. We parents play a very important role in putting a brake on exorbitant spending so that they grow up to be responsible adults.

that is so true. my hubby and i have 2 daughters, one is 12 and the other one is 16 and while they are pretty good, they still want the latest and greatest and you are right, everything costs a ton of money! we shop at thrift stores for them and you would be surprised what you can find.
