Domestic or Foreign?

There are so many choices of beer. No matter what country you live in, there is always a certain loyalty to your own brands of beer. I know people in the US who wont drink anything besides Bud! I know an Irish man who says that Irish beer is the best. Of course, Germans believe they have the best beer in the world! I have travelled to several different countries. In my travels, I have tasted many different types of beer. I would have to say that domestic beer is ALWAYS the best. Whatever country you are in, their beer tastes best there! Perhaps it is because it is always fresh. My all time favorite is probably Augustiner in Germany. Hofbrau is also a good one, it is really hard to choose between the two! What kind of beer do you prefer? Have you ever tried a beer native to a foreign country you were visiting? Does foreign beer taste better while you are in that beer's homeland?
