Have you ever gone to a concert to see a band you don't know/like and liked it?

Just further to my topic on favourite concerts i was overlooking a few of my favourites and noticed a few of them i didn't even like the band.
Take status quo for example, i never liked the music but accompanied my dad to a concert so he wasn;t alone and it turned out to be good!

Well, I've never purposely gone to a concert to a band I didn't like but I have been to but I have been to a few music festivals where there are many different bands playing and have found a lot of music I like from those bands.

actually this weekend I went to a concert of a band that I haven't heard of; Leeland. I really enjoyed their music and now I am looking for some of their cds because well I enjoyed it lol.
