Had my operation,can I see Nanny?

On tuesday it was my day to have a cyst removed from the tip of my tongue,my grandaughter who is six was waiting to see what it looked like,so she could share it all with her little friends gave her some cudos.Now don't get me wrong she is a lovely little darling ,My daughter took me to the hospital and looked after me after wards by taking me home,My daughter picked her up from school at 3pm ,they arrived home ten minutes later ,my grandaughter nearly fell over getting to me to have a look at my stitched tongue " Cor Nan that looks sore,"s she pondered by sore tongue."You wait till I tell everyone about your tongue tomorrow at school ,she seemed so pleased to have some news for her teacher,I bet my agony was the talk of the playground the next day.Have you had something like this with your family members come on join in the laugh make me laugh please,as it hurts and I need cheering up.!!!!!!!!

Not quite, but almost.
Years ago I lived near this poor guy who had a huuuge goitre on the back of hisneck. I mean, it was huge but we all used to politely ignore it.
Till Rossie (aged 4) was being walked home from nursery - we were behind him.
"Mummy look, that man's got a booby on the back of his neck!"
"Yes ... shhhh."
"But mummy, he has! That MAN HAS GOT A BOOBY ON HIS NECK MUM! MUM LOOK, THAT MAN'S GOT A..."
Oh, the shame ...

How funny that has cheered my up.The thing is kids have not grey areas do they it is one thing or the other.That poor chap does she remember saying it? I say to my daughter kids are put on this earth to show you up and don't they make a good job of it,sorry to laugh at this poor mans misfortune.Where we live in England we did not have many black people around our area at this particular time ,this black lady got on the bus and sat right by us,my daughter was about four at the time.She sat and stared at this lady ,I could feel the embarrasment rise in the back of my neck.I looked at the lady and said sorry about this,told my daughter not to stare ,my daughter almost looked up this womans nose,she was holding a big pot plant.I dragged my daughter away saying sorry to this lady,the lady went to get up to get off the bus,just as she did so my daughter said" That lady has a big plant doesn't she mummy,the lady collasped with laughter and nearly dropped her plant.I was expecting my daughter to say isn't she a different colour mummy of something not very pc,but she only pointed out her plant.I just looked horrified out of the bus window while the lady smiled and laughed she told me not to worry,but after that we started taking her further afield,to meet different people.It could have gone so badly wrong for us but thankfully the lady was nice and understood.We lived in a small village where we live still thirty years ago it was a different world.Like I say kids are put on this earth to embarrase you!

kids think things are exciting that we don't i think that is real sweet she wanrs to talk about you to her friends.i hope your tougue is better.does it feel like a lie bumb.lol

No one ever told anyone of my operations and I guess a broken wrist is not as exciting as a tongue, but it sure was not that funny either, having tellers think that if you are left handed and break your left wrist, then magically you can now write with your right hand.
"Yes tell me about it. Maybe I should tie your right hand behind your back and make you write with your left hand. "
