I am planning to enter the freelance writing market so that I can earn much more money. I also applied to Freelancewriters.info which has send me an application. Is anyone a member of that site then please guide me a bit. Also does anyone knows about some really good websites that pay a large amount of money for writing articles?

You can find plenty of information about freelance writing in the subchannel for the Business of Writing at Helium. There are many articles ont he topic, written from personal experience and offering useful tips. http://www.helium.com/channels/227-Business-of-Writing Helium can be a good starting point, but the Marketplace there has limited opportunities. Unless you can write on any given topic you are unlikely to get a regular income just from submitting there. You would need to take advantage of all the money making opportunites at Helium, and that requires a lot of time and effort. You could try some freelance job sites http://www.odesk.com http://www.guru.com http://www.elance.com http://www.getafreelancer.com
