Forex brokers... anyone using eToro?

eTORO - A site that sells itself a forex broker with a really attractive affiliate program to go with it!

I have been surfing PTC sites for quite a while now. And I came across a few sites that are touting forex trading platforms. One that I keep seeing rotated in the PTC ads is eToro. It has a software where you can download to trade. And it is offering an affliate program with their accounts too. I am wondering, are there anyone out here who uses eToro? Are they good? Can you give me your reviews of the site? Thanks in advance.

You can start trading with marketiva, they give you 5 free dollars to start trading in live account. You can deposit as little as 1 dollar, but you don´t need to deposit in order to get the 5 free dollars. Of course it´s very difficult to earn money in the forex market with just 5 dollars, but 5 free dollars are 5 free dollars after all. They also have the affiliate opportunity to earn extra money. http://www.marketiva.com/?gid=2134 Haven´t tried etoro though. As an advice i can tell you to check if they are registered in the NFA (National Futures Association) if the company is in the US

Thanks for the recommend oudine2. I did register with marketiva. And already took the 5 dollars. What I do not understand is the way the accounts are structured. Cos I see two live accounts with 2.50 in each account. 2.50 is really too little to trade anything with. But I am observing the markets. If there is a good opportunity, I may just try to trade that 2.50 and see how well I do.

really? You can transfer the 2.50 from one desk to another? I will have to explore this a little more. Still really new to marketiva. Thanks for the tip!

Nope. That is why I am looking around for a platform where I can practice One where it is easy to use with a low spread and a low start up. But thanks for responding anyways.
