Does anyone know any open auditions for ACTING in manchester?

Hi Demleo, I find it is extremly hard to get acting work without an agent - so your on the right path for getting in touch with casting directors as most have there own agency. Now I can give you the site that you need to go to on here but if you PM me I can give you have a good site that allows you to apply for castings, and casting agents in your area. You will have to pay a membership fee but trust me it is cheap and well worth it! You can set up a basic account, although it is a bit pointless as you wont be able to apply for things. This is not an agent, it is a site that provides casting calls i all areas of the entertainment industry. I have had so many castings ect through this site - I have joined so many websites like it but this one is the best I find. This is where I found all three of my agents (They all work in different fields, modeling, TV and Film and Theatre) I met them and signed on with them straight away. Just please REMEMBER NEVER PAY THEM A PENNY!! If they think you are good enough they will not ask for any money. Good luck and remember to PM to find out the site you need to look at.
