Many lives in one life

When we born we are baby.Then child,boy or girl,teenager,young,middle aged and old.We pass different stages of life. Our mind and outlook become changed with the change of age.Now I'm not that person like my boyhood.An old person don't think like a young person.Can I say we pass many lives in our single life.

I think you can state that. The real questions come when we meet a child with what is called an old soul. They think and speak as wise ones do and yet have not even passed into teenage years. What do you think is the cause of that? And have you ever met one of these children.
