http://www.eddiesdrivein.com/Index.html We have A&W Restauraunts and we have Eddies Drive In.... we actually went to Eddies tonight for dinner....you pull up and park in the parking lot and the you have the menu right there and you press a button and the waitress on roller skates comes out to you to take your order...and then brings the food to you on a tray that sits on your car door window.... It was alot of fun taking my kids there for the first time... and during the summer they have lots of old classic cars out there as well. It is alot of fun... do you have an old-fashion "drive-in" near you?

Didn't know about Eddies. We just had A&W thursday after the doctors. There is a Dally's in Livonia that also has a sit down family style thing. It's ok. I love the drive in's because it's different for the kids and they think it's fun.

Eddies was originally an A&W opened in 1943...and in 1987 Eddies took it over and renamed it... I have been doing a lot of looking things up and wanting to really travel the state of Michigan this summer and really experience it through my kids... I havent heard of Dallys but I will see if my hubby wants to check it out...thanks!! happy mylotting and have a great day!

no....not drive thru... drive in... where you eat in the parking lot and the waitress(carhop) comes out to your car and orders the food and brings it back to you... not where you drive up and drive away with your food. If you watch the commercial of Eddies drive in at the top of my discussion you will see the difference... happy mylotting and have a great night!!
