What do you think of the phrase "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch"? Is it true?

I agree, you should definalty have to work for the stuff you want, you should not expect people to just hand it to you on a silver plater.

I truly believe with no cynicism that there exists no such thing as a "FREE LUNCH" at least in today's puerly materialistic world. In today's dog-eat-dog scene its almost inane to even think of such absurdity.Gone are the days when these kind of philanthropist ideas did exist which makes It one of those GOOD-OL' WORLD -CHARM thing. Now in the present scenario ,base and loose morality so down to our bones these notions have taken a back seat .Now people only consider you on a single point agenda 'HOW USEFUL HE CAN BE 4 ME" and with this attitude of -I,me ,myself- sitting pretty in their minds they approach their lives

Hmm, well parts of this were pertinent I guess. You kind of lost me towards the end. Thanks for your response, however
