His first theet appeared at 5 months, now he has 4 up and 3 little down. The up ones looks like they loose their white color and on their back I can see some gray spots. He's breastfeed, I din't gave him anything with sugar.

My oldest daughters' teeth turned yellowish as well, when she was in between 1 and 1 1/2. The only thing to really do is use a age appropriate tooth brush, and baby toothpaste (it doesn't contain flouride, children's toothpaste does) or in your case becuase yourson falls asleep at the teat, have a wash cloth, or burp cloth (the soft flannelette material) and cover your pointer finger with it, and rub your sons' teeth/gums. It is less evasive and less likely to wake him up, and it doesn't cost anything extra :)

I just thought of this now, does your son use a pacifier, sucky, dummy, whatever you may call it? the latex ones may 'stain' the teeth. I think that is what caused my daughter to get a yellowish tinge to them. every other day or so I use a tiny little bit of colgate sensitive whitening toothpaste on her front teeth and they look alot better. I have been doing this for about a month now. Not a lot of toothpaste either because it isn't safe for them to swallow it, it is just barely enough to lightly cover a toddler toothbrush bristles, and I brush them myself, and get her to spit it out, to the best of her abilities. I wouldn't suggest doing that with your son now, because he is very young, but when he is able to spit out on demand, then if the yellow still bothers you it is an idea that you may consider trying.

Thank you for the answer. No, we don't use pacifier, nor rubber, nor silicone things. And yes, I will try everything you said, toothbrush and toothpaste, as well as material. I already gave the "best answer", but yours is better. I've seen the doctor today, one more thing she said was that I have to go to some doctor to discuss something about calcium for the baby.

Talk to your dentist. Get a soft toothbrush and toothpaste that is made especially for babies. Brush his teeth twice a day. It's never too early for the first dentist visit. Hopefully there is nothing wrong but only a doctor or a dentist can answer that for sure. I don't know if babies are still taking fluoride tablets. My son took them from the time he was 6 months old but he didn't get his first tooth until he was 12 months old. My dentist told me to start brushing his gums when he was only a few months old, even though there were no teeth visible.

I forgot to ask. Is your son on any medication? My friends son was very ill as a baby and when his teeth came out, they were already burned. It was so sad to see that and poor kid had dentures before he was 10! I hope this is not the case with your son but if he's on any medication, ask the doctors if they could affect his teeth.

No, he hasn't any medication, and as I know medication goes to make the theet yellow. Our situation is somehow different, they turn to yellow (or I don't know how to name the color exactly) by loosing the (so beautiful) white that was at first.

You should be cleaning his teeth if you don't already. My son's teeth lost their whiteness fairly early but the dentist said it was no problem but the grey spots sound like they may need checking out. As soon as a first tooth appears, they need to be brushed with an infant toothpaste :)
