What do you do on mother's day?

I don't have any special activities to do on mother's day. I only buy a gift for my mother in law days before mother's day and give it to her on the day. No special treatment like cooking for her or else. To get a gift is already special for her because she's not accustomed to any special treatment on a BIG day. She was surprised that I knew her birthday and bought her a cake. She said her children never did something like that to her. See? - -; How about you?
