i miss a lot of things when i travel. i miss the comfort of my bed some times, especially when i have to stay at a run-down hotel. i also miss my cats, the warmth of their body and their purring. when i travel more than three days, i miss my family and wonder if they are well. i don't have a bath tub at home actually so i do enjoy using the bath tub at the hotel if they have one. there are a few times i miss the convenience of a car because we commute mostly in a car back home.

hi deepak! whenever i'm in a long travel, the thing i miss the most is my computer. if i had my own laptop, i wouldn't miss it. but since i don't and i only have a desktop at home, its the only one i always use. whenever i'm on travel i rarely use computer in internet cafes. before, i used to go there a lot. but ever since i had my own computer, i now rarely go to them. i am much comfortable in using my own computer. other things i miss are my closet (i miss my clothes and everything in there ^^), and my bed and pillow. i also miss my cute little niece and nephew whenever i'm away. ^^

I miss my family and definitely my own bed. I miss the comforts of what is familiar to me like all of my furniture and although vacations are fun, it's good to be home too.

I miss having stable place where all my stuff is in one place, I miss the organization and comfort I have at home, I miss going to the gym, I miss being able to call someone for lunch. I love to travel though. I would dchoose that life if I had enough money to do it.

Hi Deepak, my friends and I usually would like to have our foreign long distance travelling during the year end holidays. While travelling we usually would miss our local delicious foods, for sometimes we might not accustom with the foods served there that do not not suit our taste. So one or two of our friends would bring some bottles of spicy chili shrimp paste along. They will share the paste together with us if they really crave for them. Other than the shower, hot white coffee, I miss my comfortable bed and pillow the most after back from the couple weeks of the foreign trip. I feel so relaxed and comfy to throw myself onto my lovely bed Happy posting and have a nice day!

Hi Deepak, I like to try different local foods of the countries during my trip. There were lots of yummy foods during our Vietnam and Turkey Trip. , we always had them heartily. Both of these two countries are famous of their coffee. I’m a huge fan of coffee I would like to taste coffee served in difference places. Yeah, they truly are tasty as well, but with different taste and aroma to that in my hometown. I just feel like the one available in my place is different in both fragrance and flavor. Yeah, just like the hotel is comfortable but we still prefer to sleep in our own bed most of the time

No i don't travel a lot but i travel sometimes and the thing that I miss alot is like my bed and bedroom, because a hotel room and bed can be so unfamiliar is makes me wish like " i wish i was at home in my OWN bed because i could fall asleep so much easier"....and so because i have such a hard time falling asleep in a strange bed i always have to take 1 sleeping pill :( because otherwise i just cannot sleep

hey sweetie! i miss my bed too. as it is a very soft one. but i feel comfortable with the strange bed too. don't take too much of sleeping pills, they are not good for health. try reading some novel and you will never even know when you fell asleep. good luck!

During travels, I miss vegetables most. Although very well served for meals, the vegetables we take every day at home are never enough, plus the fatigue from physical walking and riding, I have to encourage myself from time to time, and take fruits as substitutes. That is why when I have visitors from outside the city, I would offer a lot of vegetables, as I believe they miss green stuff during travels. Of course, taking them to restaurants shows better hospitality.

It depends on how do I travel. If I stay the night in a hotel, then it's okay. For me it's also vital to have an opportunity to go to bath in the evening. Perhaps I miss waking up late and acting slowly and calmly in the morning. It's because I usually have tight schedule, "Where to go, what to visit?", so I don't have too much time to just hang around and do nothing. It's also better to sleep at home than somewhere else, own bed is the best.

Hi Deepak, I am like most of other people, i missed my room and my bed! I don't travel a lot, but i went camping once in a while, which makes my think of my bed more.lol. But i can get used to the environment quick, some of my friend told me that they can't sleep when they travel and they feel so bad about that, and i just feel lucky i can sleep every where when i am tired.

if you rarely use other toilets then it should be very hard for you to hold that for quite long. :-). i never mind using other toilets. i also never mind doing that in open. :-) i can also do it in front of people,:-) probably that's the only advantage i got in being a boy. ha ha ha.

Hi there Deepak_Online! One of the things I would definitely miss if I were to go somewhere and leave home for a certain period of time is my bed. Another would be my pillows. I have 18 of them on my bed and that's what I look for when I sleep somewhere else. Of course I can't bring all them while on travel. Most of all, I will miss my dogs.

I miss having a shower too and even though sometimes airlines packages have a mini toothpaste and toothbrush, I still don't feel like my teeth is clen when I use it...ugggg. I am relieved when my trip is over and the first thing I get when I arrive at my hotel or place where I am staying is - you guess it - a hot bath or shower.
