Hello fwangaa!!! Well the computer I am using at the moment is pretty old. It is Pentium III. And it obviously cannot be fast like Pentium IV computers. I wonder if I could increase the RAM of the computer. There are only two slots in the main board for the RAM. And I have two pieces of 128 MB RAM in it. Now I cannot further increase the RAM memory in it. It is expensive to buy 256 MB RAM for Pentium III computers and it very difficult to find in shop too. That's why I am on with 256 MB of total RAM. I haven't installed the Anti virus software in my computer system. With the Anti virus system my computer become very very slow and it is very difficult to use it. The presence of virus can't make my computer that slow but the anti virus would make it very very slow and it makes annoying to use it. If my computer is infected, then I mostly format and reinstall the system drive leaving everything in backup in the other drives. This helps me take care of the viruses... So buy a RAM and speed up your PC...Good luck...

You can install AVG Free antivirus ... and Tea Timer from Spybot and You'll be free of viruses... I have these on 1 GHz with 3x128 MB RAM. 160 MB is free after XP is loaded. :) Regards!

It doesn't matter how fast I get my computer to run, it's never quick enough! I think we all just expect everything to be instant now days. We are all very spoilt!

I bought my laptop about five years ago. So you know, it's an old one. I don't play games on this laptop. And it's quick enough for me to browse websites in the internet. It had a 256MB RAM when I bought it. Two years ago, I buy two 512MB RAM to improve its speed. That makes it much quicker.
