How long do stare or use the computer?

I have a portable computer. I always surf online for many hours a day,more than ten hours. I feel it is very relax sitting in front of the computer. My eyes become teary and get red nearly every three hours. So, I will drink water and eat bananas for a rest and then go on using computer. However, I think we should do exercise to reduce the harm for sitting in front of computer too long. Because sitting too long is bad for health.

Hm...i can't really count or know the exact time i'm staring at my computer screen each day. It's just depending on when will i finihs my work and what time i'll have my rest. Haha..however, i can say that i spend most of my waking time in a day with my computer. We use computer to do our work daily, and after work when i go back to home and it's time to online, surf net and check the mails. Not forgetting also to sign in myLot here,haha. So, again i'm in front of the computer again, until the time to sleep. It's quite a long time, isn't it?

While i don't keep track, I do spend too much time at the computer. I should be doing other things, but I enjoy several sites, such as this one, and I get a bit carried away!

Hello bhabytart!!! Well like you said, it is the difficult thing to answer how exactly we stay on the computer as we usually don't make any journal or calculations regarding this. But I have to say, I use the computer for very long time. Although I may not be staring at the computer all the time, I keep my computer on letting it to do some tasks or listening music.... If you get your eyes teary, I think you are surely having the eye problem. I don't get that teary though I use the computer for long period of time. What do you do mostly in the computer. Do you keep reading the texts in the computer? Reading more in the computer can have very bad effect for the eye. I also can't read for the long time in the computer, though I can use other graphical systems for long period of time... happy mylotting...

Hehe,honestly,internet in everywhere in my life,i can't live without computer,everday i spend lots time in internet,i watch video ,search information i need,sometimes i don't want to go out for shopping i can even shopping online ,it's convenient

i just use my computer to kill the time. every time i get bored and have nothing to do, my computer is the answer. i really don't know how long i've been staring at the computer as long as my fingers are aching from typing and teary eyed already that's the time i had to stop.

well, almost all of my free time, i spend here on computers, i like to here, coz i like to do something productive, atleast that adds to my paypal, and i also enjoy being in company with my wonedrful friends here at mylot. I often feel tired when i work too long but i cant help it, i find no other thing more amusing and interesting than this
