I like just three miles from my nearest beach. My twenty three month old son has to ride in a buggy because he is unable to walk. I have got a wonderful new three wheel buggy. It should be superb for pushing along the sandy beaches. I can't wait to try it out.
Do you enjoy walks along the beach?
Is it easy for you to do that very often?
Have you ever pushed a buggy across a sandy beach?

Oh good for you Maxima, the beach is so relaxing and beautiful. I'm sure your son will love being able to go more often. I used to take my kids to the beach a lot when they were younger and it was soooooo good for them. I haven't ever pushed a buggy across the beach, I'm sure it won't be easy but I hope that it is worth every minute of it. It should really build up your muscles! I live right across a sand path from the beach as you know and try to walk on it it every day. Good luck and have fun with your son!

Hi maxine,
It seems you have won the lottery, friend!!!
Now a buggy, before some new aditions to your home!!! How are your driving lessons? Surely that will also mean more places to go.
A kiss to Leo and a hug to you

You just reminded me of a time when I went on holiday to North Devon with my sister and her kids. Her eldest boy suffered muscular dystrophy and had to have a buggy at that age. One day, we stopped off at Croyde Beach, which is a very flat, sandy, surfing beach. The refreshment hut was closed but there were some rocks about half way out to where the low tide was, so we decided to go looking for crabs and shellfish. We went down to these rocks and were thorough enjoying ourselves. It must have been about three to four hundred yards from the top beach. Suddenly, I heard this almighty roar, and looking up, realised that the tide had turned and was on its way in. It comes in quickly there, like it does at Weston, because the beach is so flat. Panick set in. I grabbed the buggy, she put the lad under her arm, and we grabbed a hold of the other three and FLEW up that beach! It must have looked so funny to anybody watching from up on the road. lol.
Ok... calm down now. Yes, I love to walk along the beach. I do it often, and always have. I used to walk my boys down to Brighton Marina, then along to King Alfred Bowling Alley every Sunday, take a cup of tea and a slice of cake there, before walking back. We would comb the beach for shells and pebbles on the way back. The loved it. It must have been a five mile walk all-round but we did it in all weathers. I hope you enjoy your time on the beach with your new buggy. The air's good for you, and Weston is a lovely place.
Brightest Blessings.

Aww, good for you. I hope you enjoy many wonderful walks together.
I love a good walk on the beach. Right now I live 5 hours from the nearest beach (the sea) and I miss my beach time. I lived in a beach town while in high school and it really got in my blood. I miss it.
I never pushed my little one in a buggy on the beach. I imagine it will not be the easiest thing you have done. But worth the effort. Enjoy!

I really love walking in the beach either early in the morning during sun rise and late afternoon before sunset. I always take a pictures out of it but when i transferred to another location with no seashore near the area, this habit was stop. I missed all those days i was walking along the beach my girl friend. Hope i can do it again next month when i visit my sister's place. I will spend 1 month there.
