This happened before , they tell me. The Caps were up 3-0 and were beat by The pens. I didn't even see last night's game, I saw a good boxing match instead.I was surprised that they did thiis well this season . I will always feel that Ovie is a better all round player than sid but I am Not watching the next game. I rather not feel like I was kicked in the stomach.I still like the Pens, I will always as long as they remain mario's team.So I will root for them in the next round.

The caps are better when they are behind the 8 ball. The officiating this series was horrible, but in most of the games, they did not play a full 60 minutes. Now that they are under full pressure, I suspect they will play like their lives depend on it, and it does, lol.
I HATE the penguins, but I won't hold it against you. LOL

I've been a caps fan since they first came out in the 70's. I've followed the waved of ups and downs but I refuse to give up on them. This core team will eventually win the cup, but I don't see it this year. They still have some maturing to do. I just want to see them get past pitt and maybe pull a decent round next.
Boston is my second favorite team, although I have a great deal of respect for the redwings. I was thrilled when the caps picked up Federov. I adore that man. I've followed that future hall of famer through all of the detroit wins and cups.
Anyway, GO CAPS!!!!!! Chat with you on Thursday.

It's a sad truth but I see you realize it too. The Caps are essentially done. They stole the momentum with Varlamov and came back to win the series against the Rangers when down 3-2 in the series, but this one has a totally different feel to it. The Penguins have some kind of swagger going on right now and they mean business. The momentum has taken a full shift in their direction. It's hard to imagine the Capitals squeeking out of Pittsburgh with a win in game six, let alone taking two straight from a team where Crosby, Malkin and Fluery are all playing like men posessed out there. That's Pittsburgh crowd is going to be difficult to overcome. It's a shame because Washington was the last of the teams remaining that I could see myself cheering for. I guess now all I can do is sit back, put my feet up and watch some of the best hockey a guy could ask for. Conference and Cup finals. This is what it comes down to. The best of the best. And when that wraps up, I'll have the Memorial Cup to look forward to as well. Should be a great next couple of weeks for hockey! :)

I am not watching the game , It is too painful, It feels like I have been kicked in the stomach. hey don't leave the bandwagon. Just because the Caps are on their way out, don't stop cheering for us. We welcome fans all the time. Thankfully I have The Wings. They are doing fine. The final is better for me when I have a team to root for.Even if it is my enemy's enemy is my friend. So if the Red wings and The Caps are eliminated, I may just casually watch. The thrill will be gone. I have not watch The World series because I didn't care who won , but I can't remember when I didn't care about The Cup.Even when The Avs won , there was good to see bourque hoist the cup. do yu remenber what year that was? I have forgotten.anyway even though it was the dreaded Avs , it was good to see.i will need a good storyline to see the final if neither of my teams don't make it.

The year was 2000-01. It doesn't seem so long ago, but it was 8 years!?!?! It was a great moment. I too, am not a fan of the Avalanche but I was on Bourque's side. I would have preferred to see him win it in Boston, the team he devoted his career to, but the reality is it just wasn't going to happen there. Don't worry, I'm not off the bandwagon yet. I've seen miracles happen in this sport before, and I'm not about to let go of this one just yet, haha. As much as Ovechkin likes to do it himself, it always seems like in games like this he turns into some kind of machine, a one man wrecking crew. His focus is unbelievable. As long as he is on this team, I will not entirely rule them out - but the chances are extremely slim.
