OK, I would just like to say that this is totally off the beaten path for me, but I am considering getting breast augmentation surgery. First, I would like to say that I am married and my husband does not care about these things and is happy with me the way I am, but he said if it will make me happy I should do it. I am so small it is impossible for me to find a bra in the right size. I currently need a 40A and nobody sells 40A, I know my sister size is a 38B, but again that is impossible to find also. I am 5'10" and I weigh 155 pounds but I have a big frame which is where the 40 comes in. I just feel that my body is not proportionate and I think I would look better for me, no my husband, if my breasts existed. What are you thoughts? Has anyone ever done this before? Would you consider doing it?

Like any surgery, it is important to be well informed about the procedure. I've seen some horror stories. I would encourage you to be certain that if you do decide to have surgery, be very certain your surgeon knows what he is doing and has very good references. Do your homework. YOu want to be thrilled, not chilled at the results. All the best, whatever you decide.

Thank you for you comments. I have been researching surgeons and trying to figure that out. The one place I found does scar removal theropy after the surgery to give the natural look. I don't, I think it would do wonders for my self image.

If I were you, I dont want to do it cuz I am scare of those needle thing. But if to make you happy then you should follow your heart. if your husband loves the way you are now, then why you want to change it? keep it natural

This is not about my husband loving me or the way I look. This is something for me.

No, I wouldn't. You even said that your husband doesn't really care about it. But don't listen to me, it should be your own decision, just think about it.

Well that is why I posted, I am looking for the different opinions so I can try and make an informed decision. My husband doesn't care, but I am not doing it for him, I am doing it for me.

Hi, Bytemi I have no problem with people undergoing cosmetic surgery. What is important is that you have researched about this, have satisfactory consultation with your doctor and that this is what you really want. My mother had a nose job. My father did not care how she looked either but when mom made up her mind, he was very supportive. Someday, too, when I get old, I may consider some eye lifts. Have a nice day!

It is good that your father is so supportive. It is just a hard decision to make. Do I really want to put my body through all that. Will it last? What happens if one breaks, stuff like that.

i see nothing wrong with it... a very long time ago, i really wanted to go through cosmetic surgery, but not like yours. but after going through 3 surgeries, 2 CS and 1 ear surgery, i changed my mind, the thought of going through all those again scares me a lot. when i had my ear surgery i thought i was gonna die when i woke up because i was having a hard time breathing, and my husband thought i was given electric shock because he was waiting outside the OR for more than ten hours without any news of what was going on. that was really scary, im not ready to die yet... lol and whenever i see horror stories of cosmetic surgeries done bad, the weight of not going through is really heavier in my mind now. first, if you have decided that you will go through it, find a reputable surgeon/clinic, do your research, side effects, what will happen in the long run, also like when you get old how will it look on you... etc... as for the bra size, you know here, it's easy to get a 40A bra, natasha sells them with different designs and colors, (its a direct selling company like avon) as for 38B, im 38B and i dont find it hard also to look for that size here.

Reading your story makes me think of myself . I went through life with nothing on top and can sure relate to how you are feeling . I've always wished I had bigger boobs . I've even had dreams that I had them . I've toyed around with the idea of having the surgery now and then , and even researched it a little online. Living in Mexico I could get it done alot cheaper and the doctor that does them here is known to be excellent . Part of me just thinks it as fake and I would rather stick with Real , even if it is just the size of a wallnut , lol I'm healthy , and feel darn good , I'm not about to go under the knife just so I can fill a swimsuit . Maybe if doctors could make them larger by pumping fat in , instead of cutting you open to insert something un natural I would have had it done by now .. but to me the bad just never outweighted the good in having it done . I wish I could help you to decide girlie , but all I can tell you is that I can relate to how you feel , and for me the answer was no ..

If it will make you happier, then I say go for it! I would just warn you to research well, both in the procedure you want to do and the doctor you choose. I have heard horror stories of botch jobs, and I really don't want anyone to have to go through surgery and then be disappointed!
