is it true madtv has been cancelled?

i read it in a magazine that this saturday is the last episode of madtv but i went to the madtv website and it says nothing..
i always liked snl better but i knew some die hard fans of madtv back in the day and cant imagine it being done with..
anyone know?

Yes, I think it is this week where they have a recap show and invite some of the old players back. I don't think it was last week. I think it is this week like you said. I never watched it, but I admit I didn't think it would last long because of SNL. But it had a big following, and some of the cast members have gone on to a lot of other good things.

i know there have been a ton of people off snl make it big but i never paid enough attention to madtv to know who made it big off there

I believe I have heard that it was to be cut by tv. I think it may be that it just isn't getting the ratings that they were oping for. But don't quote me on that. I'm just not completely sure if it is going to be cut completely or if it's a scam to try and get more people interested like when Coke changed their recipe for that small amount of time then changed it back.
