Emergency Help Needed For Dog Having Puppies

My 4-year-old dog is in the process of delivering her first litter. One of the sacks has been hanging out for half an hour and is getting cool. She is trying to push, but can't seem to get it out. We've tried giving her lubricant and keeping her calm. We can't get in touch with a local vet. Is there anything else we can do?

Angel, I agree with the other two posts about how to help. I have done the birthing thing with a lot of dogs. Is this her first litter? Let us know what happened, please. I ove my dogs so much that I hate to see one having babies and having trouble. Wish I could be close so I could help.

Can you gently take hold of the sack and keep slight pressure on it while she is pushing, sometimes that kind of keeps it from going back in . Give her some syrup or maybe some jelly to help keep her energy up .If she has labored a long while she might need an energy boost.Keep us posted on the progress. What kind of dog is she?
