Which voice do you prefer?

Have you ever recorded your voice and play it back? What did you noticed? Isn't it different from what you normally hear? This is because we can hear two kinds of our own voice, the internal and external. The internal one is the echo produced inside our body as we speak and the external one is the same as what other people can hear. So the combination of the two sounds is what we hear and when we play the voice we have recorded, then what we'll hear is only the external one. I always feel that my recorded voice is different from what I naturally hear and I prefer the second one myself :) Unfortunately, the recorded voice is what other people can hear. :( How about you friend? Do you like your recorded voice or the one you can hear?

I like the recorded one.Certainly it is very much different. It is so soothing. I used to think, that I do not have a good voice.I really don't like my voice when I speak a bit louder. It sounds real bad. But the recorded one is really very pleasant. I really like my recorded voice.

wow! maybe because you might be conscious because you know your voice is being recorded so it is somehow unknowingly regulated :) glad that you like your recorded voice! by the way, sometimes when I recorded my singing voice I also feel its nice, that is if I will repeat it over and over again... :) thank you for the response! :)

I like how my internal voice sounds. My external voice to me sounds g@y. So I try to avoid recordings. Haha

This is news for me.I have heard my recorded voice and I don't like it as it is entirely different from what I hear when I talk. And I am thinking that,it is the recorders fault that cannot reproduce my voice exactly.LOL!Cheers!

Oh really angeline17. Yeah I agree that I hear different kinds of voice recorded and the one I can hear while speaking. I think I prefer the one I hear because I am more used to it because it is the one I always hear. But when I hear my voice in third person, it is not that bad though haha. But I think I like the one I hear when I speak better. :)
