AIDS - When will they find the cure?

Ever since it emerged in the late 1970's, AIDS has presented a profound challenge to medical science. So far, researches have not been able to discover a cure for the deadly virus. The rapid spread of AIDS among the nations of Africa and Asia has transformed it from an epidemic into a global pendemic.
But new research gives reason to hope that doctors will soon be able to control the infection. They always say that. Does this seem promising to you? Soon when?

no it doesnt seem -promising to me, i dont think they will ever find a cure for it, they may be able to control it, but they have been doing that for years, i think its unfair for the people that have got it, although maybe if they find a cure for AIDS they can find a cure for cancer
