This all depends on how you define power. In terms of world leadership and dominance economically, socially and militarily, it is definately going to be the United States.
If you determine power to be the country that is going to have the most influence on the rest of the world, you would have to look at the current situations in Iran and North Korea. The implications that lie within those two countries to affect the rest of the world are huge.

It would probably still be the United States. I think that maybe in like 10 years, countries such as China could probably challenge that, because they are growing stronger economically and milary wise.
