Hi all, I was wondering what is the right answer to this? "Will you be my Valentine?" If there is any. My would be husband said that to me on Valentine's day and i said yes, but he was not satisfied and he got mad at me that I should know what to say when he asked me this :s I was and i still am confused about it. I tried to google it too but i can't find anything more than that. Do you guys have a clue what he wanted to hear? Are there any right or wrong answers to this one? Help me as i don't want to disappoint him next year as well. Thanks.

i simple "yes" would have been enough, but maybe he was looking for "always" or "everyday". since valentine's day comes only once a year, by answering "everyday", means the other 364 days will be like valentine's day when you are with him. and "always" means year after year, you will be his very own valentine. take your pick next time, whichever mood you're likely to be come next february. hope this works. goodluck! let us know next year. hehehe :)

Hey... I think it wasn't your fault. Your would be husband was not supposed to ask you this qustion as he knows that you both love each other and commit to be together forever. But as far as he has asked you, I think still he hasn't got the confidence that you love him and you are his valentine. In this situation, as being a guy, When I ask my girlfreind "Will you be my valentine?"; I would expect my lady saying that "Sweety, I am always your's. And I am so bad, that even if I die, I'll always be there with you, and what ever evil comes to your way, I'll take on me" With my lady saying this, she would rise her level of faith and love in my heart. And I would curse myself, if I ever leave her. Hope this gives you your answer.....

Sighs...Guess you are right about the answer Aamir. Perhaps he was willing to hear something like that, but than again he knows me well and he should understand that I am very shy when it comes to directly SAY something like this. But you said he might not know how much i love him or anything....that's not right. He knows it well :) I do write to him usually but sometimes I shy away saying something and he gets upset. Thanks for the response Aamir :)
