Why do people admire more those who are sexy, flawless, and white

On my part, I don't really like discriminations... for many reasons...
most teenagers have insecurities and want to be pretty...
i remember once, my professor asked the class "what is the reason why people call beautiful to those people who are sexy white and flawless??? " she answered.. "because those people who are attractive have more advantages and privileges..."
for example, here in our country there are some scenes where for example...
a pretty woman driving a car and get caught by a police for violating ...
when the police saw the beautiful women he would let her go but if she is not pretty, then she would not let her go...
that's one reason why poeple want to be beautiful...
If people admire teddy bears why can't they admire those who are fat?
isn't it bias? well i can't change the way the world goes round...
my only advice is that self esteem is important. if you love yourself then people would love you too...

the white part, at least in my case, is definetely not true :)
well i guess that's how the mentality 'evolved'.. but since everyone is saying that inside beauty is better, is because is true. when you're old, all that's left is your personality, you don't have the looks anymore.
too bad we realise many things only when we're at the end..

i do agree with you because i think no matter where you in this world its the same. but because you are beauitful on the outside doesnt mean you or they are on the inside. i only met a few people who are both.
but you must like yourself for who you are, as well what you are.
i learned learn to change things you can and except things you cant.

I agree with you...
I don't think what happened in your example is good but it does happen all around the world!And I think it's inevitable,sorry to say.What we can do is to treat everybody by the personality instead of the apearance ourselves.The others?There's nothing we can do though we know it's not good....
