FDA Recall: Hydroxycut
The FDA has sent out a warning to consumers to stop using Hydroxycut products.
They have reports on the serious health risks with using these products. They have many reports on liver damage and even a death. If you or anyone else you know, uses these products, you should read this.

I have a few years back, but I never finished the bottle. I ended up giving the rest to a friend.

I have heard of this product. I always knew that it was bad, I never use diet aids like this. Now that its being recalled I will def never use any of them. i think the best way to lose weight is to eat healthy and exercise. Too many people want a easy way, but its never easy. However it is possible. I just lost 30 pounds and went from a size 14 to a 7.

If there is evidence to health risk, why did you give the rest of the product to your friend? Shouldn't you just have disposed it instead? How's your friend now?

Oh no... I bought a Hydroxycut product years ago... The FDA recall was emailed to me just today. I would never give that to someone if I knew it was bad.
I gave it away back then because I didn't like the feeling it gave me. It speeds up your metabolism, like many other pills. My hands would shake and I just didn't like all that. My friend asked for it because she liked that product and used it often. So I gave it to her. Back then, there were no reports on the health risks, or none that we knew of.
My friend is fine, luckily =) She said she only used that stuff for a short time back then. She is all about natural products now.

oh, alright.. thank you for the clarification.. and thank you for your informative post.. i've been thinking of using Hydroxycut but never had the budget to actually use it. it's quite expensive..
