My husband is in the Military and ever since we've moved to our most recent duty station i still haven't met any new friends. It's hard because my husband doesnt realizes how lonely I am and how hard it is to meet new people. I find myself clingly to him because he's the only one I have. I know the work would allow me to meet new friends but I'm expecting =) in Sept, and don't feel like its a good idea to job into a new job right now therefore I still have no friends. =/ Anyone else a military wife? or in this situation? Any Suggestions?

being a soldier's wife and a seafarer's wife is just the same. you'll all be left alone at home caring with kids. it's still a noble job to do. just don't let boredom rule over you. there are lots of activities that you can indulge into and have fun. you're lucky you discover mylot.

Wow. I can't help but answer your post. My late dad was also in the Military...but my mom, instead of wanting to make friends with others, do not like to talk to anyone. Not that she is an introvert or anything. It's because my dad and us, his family is wary of the people we interact and talk to (he or she could be the counter camp spy or anyone)...that time, there was a civil war going on in the southern part of the Philippines. So there. It's good to know that you want to make friends. I hope you good luck.
