I have been seeing this informercial forever. Well a couple of months ago I decided to check them out with the BBB (Better Business Bureau). And they seem legit and no complaints on file. They've been accredited with the BBB since 2006. They say there is a low start up cost of $25. You can do it part-time or full time. You can order the stuff for booth sales or you can do it online and submit orders and they mail it to the customers with your company name. All this sounds great, but I get nervous at the thought of starting something that may be a bit shady. It just sounds to good to be true, and you know that whole saying. So I was wondering have any of you signed up with SMC mail order company? And if you have have you done as well as they say you do?

It is only $25 to get the stuff, but then you have to set up a monthly payment plan with them or pay like $250 up front to continue with them. I signed up with them a few years ago, but I never really did much with it. My main complaint about them was that they would take your monthly ($49 I think) out on different days all the time and they over drew my account twice.

Did you ever sign up with SMC? If so, how did it go? I am trying to find someone from Ohio who signed up with SMC around the time period of your post above who would be willing to get in touch with me and tell me about it.

Yes, it is like the first response said. I sold a couple things on Ebay a few years back and got really good reviews (feedback). SMC offers 1 main catalog with everything from A to Z. Items are nice and not to pricey. You can buy the stuff for 1/3 the catalog price (that is what the company gets) your profit is 2/3 the selling price. Ebay is to full of people selling it to really make a profit. But if you/spouse/friends can put catalogs out at work, have a large family, a social life, you might do well. Or if your outgoing and not shy. It's like selling Avon only it's merchandise not makeup and such. But they have a nice large selection and on the site they have pictures of everything so you can download them to put on websites or blogs to sell. If your a good sales person it's worth a shot for extra money. After the initial $250 start up cost there is a $25? yearly membership fee. But they do ship on a timely manner and they don't pay you, you just pay them their part when you place the order and keep the rest for your profit.

I know a company that has the exact same magazines and it's free. Hope you didn't do it.
