So I'm from Georgia and I have always had a Georgia flag in my house. Recently my hubby hung our large one in the living room and put up a few Georgia Bulldog things up. We don't live in Georgia anymore but are still proud to have come from Georgia. I personally don't find that flag to be offensive but a part of our heritage. A lot of people think other wise and I wanted to get your input. Do you find the rebel flag offensive? Why or why not?

It is something that should be taken in context. To do that is difficult because you must know the person. I personally only find it offensive when used by people for racist reasons, other wise it is just a flag and apart of American history, for better or worse. If you do not mean it in a negative way then do not hesitate to display it. Your friends and others will know by your actions and words if you are displaying it to be racist.

It's just crazy some of the reactions we get from people. We are having a big cook out before hubby deploys again and I'm worried of the kind of reaction we are going to get from some of these military men. It's going to be interesting.
