Oh my G-d! I can't believe it! the Caps tied it up. I didn't see the game, I was too nervous and I thought that The Pens would win. Now another game 7! I am still in shock. Did you see the game? whom do you think will win game 7?

With MAF proformance from past big games, all I got to say is... Stick a fork in them. I think that game 7 could end up with it being very one sided. As long as it doesnt get dirty. Pens D is hurt and over commiting to Ovie, this allows for some very skilled players to make plays. MAF in the past has flopped big time in high pressure games, look at game one and two last year of the finals.

Have you heard if Gonchar is coming back for Wednesday? He scares the crap out of me. Caps can handle Crosby, if they take him out of his home in front of the net. That is the only place from which he can score. Malkin is the player that most concerns me. He can score multiple goals and he keeps the game moving, drawing penalties and not resorting to cheap shots.

I am too close to be objective but I thought The Caps had more goal scorers than the Pens. So if the D stops Ovie, it give Backstrom, Semin and Federov mors more to score.

this game had EVERYTHING!!! An instant classic. I especially liked in the third period where in a span of about 1 minute, 20 seconds Pittsburgh scores to take the lead then Washington scores to tie it and take the lead. It was just an absolute thriller from beginning to end. It's only fitting that this series goes seven. Can you imagine a Penguins/Capitals game 7 overtime? I think I just wet myself thinking of how great a game that would be. As a side note - I posted on my twitter account just moments after the third period ended that I thought Steckell would score the OT winner and what do you know... I know I counted the Capitals out in an earlier topic, going so far to say that Pittsburgh would be the team to come out of the East but game 7 is up for grabs. It's anyone's game and it's going to be a real treat for hockey fans of all kind.

I agree, that was the single best game I've seen all year. This is what hockey should be. and the game was not onesided, penalty wise. The Laich penalty in the last 2 minutes of the third period was uncalled for, but that they killed it was thrilling.

so, does washington shave their playoff beards after the second period now? what a hype buster this one turned out to be. One team showed up and the other crumbled under the pressure. I gotta say though - I didn't think I'd ever see Theodore back in net during these playoffs

The Capitals and Penguins have had a great series so far and Game 7 is anyone's for the taking. These teams are so evenly matched. This game will be decided by who wants it more. Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin have stepped up their game. They have like 14 goals combined in 6 games.

I watched the Caps game. I thought it was a good one, but the Caps need to play harder. It also doesn't help that the refs were making bad calls all night. I was rooting for them though. I would really like to see the Caps win. They are a really good team.

The Caps are my home team. I am so proud of how far they have come but I don't want it to end, not yet.My dream is to my two teams , The Red wings and the Caps play each other , a rematch of 1998 Cup.

I watched the game and it was a phucking great game!!! I was on the edge of my seat for the whole 60 minutes. This game was what hockey should be. When they went into overtime, I was afraid that the caps were a bit snake bit since they had lost 2 overtime games in the series already. They seemed a bit panicky. Then, steckel deflected a shot and IT WENT IN!!! I was jumping up and down as much as Bruce was. I hope upon hope that the Caps can pull out of this series. I will be content if they lose in the next series, but for them to lose to Pitt would destroy me(bit of an overdramatization, lol.) I will say that game 7 is anyone's game. Of course I want the caps to win, but it's going to boil down to which team wants it more, which teams takes the fewer penalties, and which team comes to play a full 60 minutes.
