In the last game between The Canes and The Bruins , Walker Sucker punched Ward . Ward may have a broken bone in his face. I Knew when I saw the punch it would be a fine and a suspension. Now that he will play tomorrow , he will be target number one. what the leagus should have known is that it was in the best interest to get Walker off the ice for this game. I have a feeling if the Bruins are losing in the third. Walker will be a target.I thought he should have b gotten a 5 games like Brasheur. How long should have been the suspension?

I have seen the clip of the punch a couple times and I might be in the minority but I think it deserved a 1 game suspension. The punch was more of a sucker punch that Ward didn't see coming. It has definately woke the Bruins up and they will feed off of that and have a great chance to win the series now.

Crosby's fight was much worse, the one in florida where he attacted the guy off the face off. they said they had been jawing and what not. well this one i put in that category... and Ward was fine so just a lot of talk..

Before the game someone said the bear is now awake and that's how they played, especially in the first. The Bruins were ready to play and The Canes weren't

It should not have been a suspension. This happened three or four times through the regular season and no suspension was given. That's the precedent, stick to it. Especially now where it's the playoffs and the disciplinary committee has said time and time again that when it comes to suspensions a playoff game is worth two regular season games. The original suspension was for instigating a fight in the final five minutes of a hockey game. Since there was no fight, I don't see how he could have instigated one so that suspension was rescinded and there should not have been one for the sucker punch. For once I would say the league got it right. IF they wanted to suspend him, maybe they should change the rule. But based on the rule, they made the right call.

I think this is the best thing to happen to the Bruins. I know if my guy got bunched and was hurt by it, all the canes are going to pay.Hatred has turned to war. This game should be great. Checks will be finished. There will be dancing tonight.

Interesting that it's Walker who scores the game seven overtime winning goal?

the problem was Ward never dropped his gloves, you could see him yacking away, and im sure Walker said lets go, Ward said somethign and pop. Honestly most of the suspension this year would not have been 10 years ago. I say penalize during the game but don't have Campbell get involved.

I think if the refs had seen and called it a roughing minor, there wouldn't be a huge deal, It is that there wasn't a call and it was caught on tape that the suits in Toronto Have to get involved.!0 years ago , the D could trap, there was a two line pass penalty, and it was fre game on the goalies. We have to take the good with the bad. the one thing that Has to stay or I am gone is the one on one , gloves off, helmets on fight.

The whole "game" of hockey and the whole "game" of football should be permanentally suspended. All of those players are a bunch of spoiled idiot monsters!!!

Sarah dont worry about people like her. When they feel the Flame a sport or topic its usually because they need to feel. Rather if it is Good or Bad they need a reaction from other, and since they have no one in their personal lives they pick on complete strangers.

The beauty of hockey is this: lose the sticks, lose the pads, lose the puck, lose the hard hits into the boards, lose the punching. What you have left is figure skating. Sorry, I'm just telling it to you as I see it. Enjoy the rest of the season.
