do you believe people can forgive others?

I certainly think it is impossible for humans to forgive their counterparts/mates when they have hurt you a lot. Just for name sake, one might say that they forgive you but this is not true. At some point of time, when they are alone or with you, the thought of you hurting them comes to their mind and it keeps lingering on their mind all the time. They cannot be the same as they were before. As i always say " Broken friendships can be soldered but, will never be sound.. "
What are your thoughts about this?

Yes I believe people can forgive.^_^
It's just that "they can forgive but they cannot forget."
We are not perfect! When someone is hurt, the wound that has been created needs time to be healed. So we can't expect that the forgiveness can be easily given by those people who have been hurt so much.
As for the broken friendship, yes it can be fixed but it will never be the same.
It's already been damaged.

It really depends on the person and the situation. There are situations that we cannot really avoid going back on the fault made by others and be very safe in dealing with them. Some people do forgive but the way they treat that person who has offended them is not the same as they treat their friends.

of course, why not?there is no point in holding grudges and hurt feelings, life is short to be mad and keep grudes!
