Do you smoke in front of your parents.

I am from India and in Indian family,respecting family members is very important.We dont smoke or drink in front of our parents.But,now the situation is slowly changing due to the influence of new media like internet.Now the social value amoung the society is fading at a rapid rate.

I'm from England, my parents drink but don't smoke. They don't know that I smoke. I will happily drink with them and they will not mind but I won't smoke in front of them because they don't smoke and they hate it. I think they would be very disappointed in me if they found out that I was a smoker.

for me that's a crime especially to those parents who doesn't smoke at all. there are areas that don't mind people smoking. in fact there are smoking zones. one can have smoke all you can there. why not find that place so one can't be destructing others that don't smoke and hate smoking.

I don't have habit smoking so i no need to worry but few people are there and they don't mind people so they keep on smoke before parents that is really bad.

No, I don't smoke. but i do drink occassionally with my friends. but it's absurd for me to be smoking or drinking in front of your parents because 
it literally show lack of discipline and respect to them. besides, you won't gain anything from smoke except addiction and Cancer.
