computer dvd problem

in my comp all is fine exept one thing, i cant get dvds to play with widows media centre or anything else.

Try with VLC (videolan). If you can see the DVDs, you need to install codecs or update it. One of best codec pacs is K-lite Códec Pack, you can find it in http://www.filehippo.com or anypage that offer downloads.

You can try some Free players at "http://www.filehippo.com/software/multimedia" for example: Bsplayer Gomplayer Kmplayer mediaplayer classic quicktime alternative etc.

Ya I installed vlc...I got it all playing right....But after some time a black screen comes up....Some 'vlc hardware'...something like that...Is that an error?

I think you lack the codec necessary to play DVD on your computer. The best way to solve this is to install Klite Codec so you can play your dvds with ease. You can find it some websites and it's for free like in Filehippo. It's easy to install so there should be no problems. I'm pretty sure this will solve your problem.

Thanks...to Modstar and Alice..I installed k lite codec pack and now its working fine...Is there an option to increase or amplify the volume to 400 as in VLC?

i tink the problem is with codecs try to update the codecs of windows media centre...
