5 discussions with 20 answers each, or 1 with 100 answers? Wha you will choice?

I choice 5 discussions with 20 answers. Because i use to have many discussion to make. I started posting a discussion only 4 or 5 persons reply on my topic. I'm struggling to have members to reply on my topic. In 1 with 100 answers its very hard. But there is no impossible in here mylot. Because the population here is more than 170,000+. There is no secret in open 1 topic and take over 100 members to answer. For me its inspiration. The person who replied the topic have the same feeling who open the topic. They sympathy each other. They are been inspired by the topic. Hope i can make a topic and more than 100 members will reply on it.

Hi Ice. I prefer one discussion a week That's all I usually do. Last month I started 4 discussions and so far this month only 2. Then I spend time commneintg back to all those who respond on mine and go and respond on their discussion to. I make long comments on all my dicussions and many come back and respond again on the comment I make over and over agin - they respond again, I comment again, many times and we sometimes get a small dicussion going on inside the main discussion itself. Thst is how I preferit. I do not like starting many discussions and not having time to comment properly to those who respond.

I prefer 5 discussions with every 20 answers with it. I have had such post and I am very lucky to be getting it. But I have post with only 1 answer too. It is all a matter of interest to the others.

sometimes i think it is the discussion and then sometimes it is your friends.they just don't comment back for some reason.

I would prefer five discussions with twenty responses. Because, I like to start some good discussions. I manage more than five discussions a week so it's not much of a trouble. And 100 answers for a discussion is not impossible. It can be achieved. But it takes time and patience.

I would rather have 5 discussions with 20 answers, because it probably is in different topics, which may interest other people later, but if you had only one, people would start getting bored of that one... So, my decision is the 5 discussions with 20 posts on it! =)

i will choose 5 dicussions with 20 answers. if you start a dicssions, and you have 100 responses. that will wait a long time. and if you start 5 discssions you may quickly have 20 anwsers. i don't want wait a long time. and you may earn more if you start 5 discussions.

I also have the same question in mind like you. Why is it that some members here were able to generate more than a hundred in just a single discussion they started but then some (like me) gets only few responses. One with the maximum number of 10 responses. I do not know why but maybe it's due to the fact that some or most of my topics are not interesting or just maybe some members here were done answering similar discussions. Anyway I also do not know the secret behind getting more responses. But if I were to choose I would rather get 20 responses with every topic I start than getting hundred responses with a single one. For me getting at least 20 with every topic you started means you are good. Getting a hundred response with a single topic means luck. You were only able to catch others attention once because of that. So for me 20 in every topic is better. Anyway I guess that is just a dream for me because as of now, that I have been here for 6 months I have not gathered more than 10 responses yet. My minimum is zero and my maximum is I think 10 or 11. I just make myself busy with responding and responding to earn more.

I don't start discussions too often. I find myself much better and enjoying responding better. But to be honest, when I do start a discussion, I am happy with it if I get 10 responses. So in answer to your main question, I would be really happy with the 20 responses to 5 discussions. As for the question of how to get 100 responses to a discussion, let me know if you get a good answer to that one.

That will depend on what you want out of the discussion. Sometimes you sincerely want to find out the answer, even if only one response, and that single comment helps you, then I think you achieve your objective. If you want to start a discussion purely to reach payout every month, starting one or two discussion in a week, and attract more than 100 responses is good enough. You can spend time just replying to all the comments, give thanks to everyone who respond to your discussion. in this way, you maximise your time, since you do not need to surf different postings, you can save a lot of time this way.

Hi Icesmile, I think i will choose 1 with 100 answers. I am lucky that i've have one. But only one though. I also got 1 response to my topic sometimes. The answers' quantity is just depends on the quality of your topic.

Hello icesmile! Well, I choose to have a single discussion that has 100 responses. That would be a great achievement to mylot members. To make this happen, the discussion must remain in the hot list because it can help the discussion to receive a lot of responses by other members. If you have many friends, maybe most or all of them respond to you if they find it to be interesting. Maybe luck is also a factor. This is my view to your topic, happy mylotting and have a nice day!
