does java programing really uses our logic??

..as i have encountered many machine problems to program using java, i really dont know how could i make algorithms to my program and probably dont know what design i should start..well, could give me some tips on how can i make it really work?? PS: all programmers there should response on this discussion..hehe Peace!!
