Dubious ends to a movie -- A disappointment!

I watched two or three movies with such ends. For example the end of the new Halloween movie. Micheal Myers suddenly takes his sister and falls of the balcony and then something happens and end of the movie. So then what happens to the sister. It is left to people's imagination. And I am not talking of ends which are made keeping in mind a link to make a sequel. These you take it the way you want ends come as a disappointment to me. I want it to end with some finality. Not left to my imagination, take it the way you want type. What do you think?

That's the end? Because it sounds identical to the start of Halloween: Resurrection.

At least it is the end to the Halloween I saw. So there is a sequel to Halloween. The end to the 1978 movie I think was a little different. He falls down. But I dont think with the girl in the 1978 movie.

Waaay more than one sequel. The original Halloween series made it up to Halloween 8, although Halloween 3 wasn't about Michael Myers. Then, recently, the original Halloween movie was remade by Rob Zombie.

There were 8 of them for the original. Wow. What did they have to show to make so many of them. Isnt Halloween about micheal myers and didnt he die in the first part itself.

The Halloween Movies have almost become a cliche of Sequel after sequel..the producers probably wanted to leave the door open at the end just in case the movie became popular enough that further sequels would be worth making at some point in the Future!

There are sequels to halloween. I thought there were just these two, the second one a remake of the first one.
