Mylot is taking over my worktime.....

Well I am still new to mylot but ever since I joined I am on it for about 4-6hrs a day. I just came into work at 11am eastern time and I haven't been able to get off. I am still doing my work but I feel like I have to keep refreshing to see what new discussions I can respond too and I am constantly thinking of discussions to start. Does anyone else have this problem??..lol

Hello Flirtykumquat , when I first joined mylot I would spend a lot of time here but now I try to only stay for about an hour total by breaking it down by half an hour or less. It really depends on if I have something else I need to be doing.It can be hard to pull myself off of mylot but I do.

I don't know what to do. I work at an office so all my work is usually on the computer and then I haven tabbed browsing so I feel like I am always on

Since ive joined im glued to it,
Although i don't post much i love seeing other peoples opinions.
I might have to start organising some debates though :)

I do come on mylot from work - however i limit it to my "Breaks" or to a time when im having to wait for several things to complete before i can actually go on to the next step.
I dont really have an issue with looking for more to start but i do like seeing what people have posted.

Hi ,
There was a time for nearly 5-6 months when I was very much active on Mylot -almost 4 to 5 Hours or sometimes even more.I was beginning to had a kind of Mylot 'Addiction' then .
However,I had many other work engagements after that and other changes and I no longer am so much active on Mylot.In fact ,I sometimes Log onto Mylot even after 10-11 days !

I feel the same way, as I am so addicted, I just can't leave it. I do have other sites to do, so I do take a break a few times a day, but I always manage to find my way back in here before I go to bed lol. It is a great site and I like the fact we can share our opinions with others and learn from them too. I know, I have learned a lot already and I am enjoying myelf immensely. I think of anywhere else I would rather be, that is for sure. I think that mylot is taking over a lot of lives in here, but that is a good thing I think. Well, good luck to you, and happy mylotting.
