VERY IMPORTANT...I can not emphasize enough how important healthy life with good diet and exercise are. I used to be so ignorant about all that until i found myself sick every 2 weeks from eating unhealthy foods without exercise at all. I was very skinny and underweight though. That was years ago. One day in 2005 I just got tired of being sick all the time. I FINALLY started listening to my own body. First thing I did was stopped taking over-the-counter meds. I've read that they actually build up in our system and they become toxins afterwards. So I haven't taken a single med....eventhough i get a flu, stomach ache, allergies...you name it for over 4 yrs now. I actually feel a lot better after just one year of not taking any of those meds. Then I started choosing what I should eat more and what I should eat less. Eating in moderation is the key. Now I'm no longer underweight. I have a normal weight. I started running about 3 yrs ago and it just helps a lot. It creates more muscle tissue on my body so i got rid of some unwanted fats on my tummy. The best thing is I don't have to worry anymore that I will die before I even see my daughters' wedding someday. It's a great feeling to start each day with me moving around without feeling dizzy or lazy or depressed. If I can do it you can do it too. It just take self-motivation. I wish you goodluck. Take care.

I think walking is a very good exercise. I also think you are doing a good job.

Thank you. I also started with walking but the first time I did it on the treadmill I could hardly catch my breath. Then as the days go by I found myself being able to walk then run faster...i got better. You can do it too :)

Gicolet is right. It is VERY IMPORTANT. Staying healthy is one of the best things that we can do to our bodies. Of course, to stay healthy, this means that we have to exercise and eat right. In my case, I am still recovering from surgery, but as soon as my doctors gave me the go signal to exercise, I was immediately on the treadmill. I gained some post-op weight and I did not like one bit. I know my body's been having a hard time ... I get tired easily, I'm sluggish, I was very moody etc etc etc. I realized that this has to stop. I gotta love my body and no one else would start that change but me. The first two weeks was really difficult for me, but as soon as I saw developments, I am just inspired more than anything. Goodluck to you dear. Keep me posted :)
