teen curfew-- help me plez!!!

i was talking to my mother and she thinks that the 12:00 curfew that we set for my step daughter that is 16 is not a good time. She say 10:30 would be better what do you think and why

I think 12:00 for a 16 year old is perfectly ok, if on weekends only. School nights/work nights should be no later then 10:00.

I think that she is your daughter and so your rules are what matter. I think that midnight is fine for the weekends (I am assuming that she does not get to go out on school nights). Besides all that there is nothing that she couldn't do during the day that she might do at night so if you are comfortable with that time and trust her then stick to your decision.

why don't you opt for 11:00 on weekdays that is my curfew and i find it to be reasonble and 12:30 on weekends
