Carrie gets to keep the crown, so Perez Hilton the clown will now have tears running down his fat cheeks! Thank you, Mr. Trump, for being sane!!

He handled it right. Taking away the crown would have caused much more damage to the credibility of this organization. Coming up with those accusations after her opinions were suddenly politically charged. It was their own fault for letting Perez ask the question in the first place. Perez Hilton got his 15 minutes out of it trying to force his own ideas on the rest of us. But it didn't work out the way he wanted it to. He harmed himself more than her. He freely admitted that he was not an impartial judge after that response by loudly proclaiming that her answer cost her the Miss USA crown. He should never be a judge again. They also need to do a better job in pre-screening the questions. That question should never have been asked because the answer was bound to offend somebody no matter which way it would have been answered.

I agree Hilton should never be a judge again and that questions like that have no place in a beauty pageant. It was clearly intended to stir up controversy no matter what her answer would have been. Annie

Don't thank Trump. I'm sure that he expected that whole fiasco to happen, which is why he included that horrible, crass, classless person on the judging panel. After all, beauty pageants are boring and viewership has fallen in past years. He got more publicity for his stupid beauty contest through that storm of publicity than he could have paid for! That said, I'm glad for Miss Prejean. I admire her for having the courage to speak her convictions with grace, consideration for others and bravery.

It was definitely the correct thing to do. I personally do not like these pageants, but when they do something like what they did to Miss California, I do pay attention. Everything they did to her was uncalled for. I hope she gets something out of this in the end. Shalom~Adoniah

I'm glad that Miss California got to keep her crown. In your face Hilton! As someone else said, I usually don't pay attention to any of these pageants but when something like this starts happening, you almost can't help but to pay attention. I'm glad Donald Trump made the right decision and let her keep it.
