I have found an Apple tree that claims to bare three types of Apples I want the tree but my husband says that i would be buying The Golden Gate Bridge. Even if it only bared one type of Apple (i may luck up and really get three types) I would still be ahead, after all I have no Apple Trees at the moment. Do you think it may really do as it says? I need some good points to convince my husband that we need this type of Apple tree, so help me out.

Im sorry, but I have to agree with your husband on this! It sounds to me like a complete scam. Is it online? Or would you be able to go to a local store to buy the tree? If it is online, I would be worried that they would take my money and I would never hear from them again! I dont think it is biologically possible to grow 3 kinds of apples on one tree. I would go for a regular apple tree. Find a trusted, local, nursery. They can suggest what kind of apples would grow well for your area. An apple tree is a really good idea though. Think of all of the money you could save on fruits! And all of the yummy things you could make. Apple pie, apple butter, applesauce, apple cobbler... Mmmm!! I cant wait until I have the space for fruit trees and bushes!

It's the Michigan Bulb Co. My Dad and g-mother use to get stuff from them, that's the only reason that i even think it might really be true.

Not on-line. It is actually in the spring catalogue of a well known bulb company. I can't help it I still want to try it. Wouldn't it be amazing if it really did work?

It sounds bogus to me. I have never heard of any plant bearing more than one variety of fruit etc. I have some land for sale for really cheap to plant that tree if you're interested. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Sounds like a scam to me. Perhaps the tree is grafted from a few different varities but I doubt there is a way that it can bare 3 types of apples. Nonetheless if there was such a thing I imagine it would be a fortune. I would say just plant your favorite variety of apple and call it a day.

It sounds a bit far-fetched, especially if the tree's cheap. But even still, it would be a good thing to have if the weather out there will let an apple tree grow. It would be So convenient to have if you like apples. And (I forgot how) you could do the math and figure out how many pounds of apples you'd need for it to virtually pay for itself.

Hi Beck, I love apples and so do the boys so even one kind would be great. It would be amazing if there were three types though! You guys could always help us eat them.

I know I certainly would. Homegrown apples are SO better than store-bought.
