Why Jesus was Cruicified?

JESUS was crucified for all our sins. Plain and simple. HE took it all when HE was nailed to that old rugged cross. He is our way out of all our mess if you would only believe. All the hard work, HE has done, we just have to come to HIM freely and accept HIM as our SAVIOUR. HE is indeed my SAVIOUR and I belong to HIM.

Jesus could have called upon a heavenly army to protect him, but violent resistance to Rome was not on Jesus' political agenda. 11.Jesus was crucified as a political criminal, as an enemy of the state, between two bandits ,refusing to pay taxes to Caesar , for violently resisting economic injustices,threatening to destroy the Temple ,claiming to be a messianic king He was a reformer and a true leader of the people and this was the main reason he was killed.
