I totally agree with you. I tend to buy stuff in the organic aisle of my grocery store, and I've found some things which personally I find very tasty! Plus, there are alternative ways to flavor food. You should look for stuff like cane sugar and Canola oil if you're going to be having anything that requires them. The problem with fast food is that they use palm oil, which is the most fattening oil there is, and most soda drinks use high fructose corn syrup. Also, whole wheat products tend to be better then processed flour, and in doing that you are actually eating better as well. However, I use this whole wheat bread for my sandwiches that almost tastes like white bread. So there are definitely ways to make healthy food tasty, it all depends on what you use and how you prepare it.

I agree 100%! Healthy doesnt have to mean bland and boring. It just takes some time to get used to the switch! There are some options that are easy to make your eating healthier. Use brown rice rather than white rice. Use whole wheat pasta or breads. I think one of the things that people find really difficult is eating veggies. There are so many ways to cook veggies that make them delicous! I love making a rice pilaf. That way I get my whole grains (brown rice) and vegetables all in one dish! Another favorite is to cook the veggies in the crock pot with the meat. They absorb the wonderful juices of the meat and taste delicious! I think that I have more variety and better tasting food now that I am trying to eat healthy! I never would have imagined just how good the food itself actually tastes without all of the extra fat and sodium!

i'll try that rice pilaf of yours. my mom sometimes make us rice toppings because there are times that my siblings are picky. i have no problem with any kind of foods. i don't even remember i refused to some certain kind. i just hope everybody at home got my appetite so that mom would stop worrying about picky eaters. sometimes, it would ruin someone's budgeting management.
