Some people like to eat raw foods because they think cooking food will destroy the vitamins it has, and adding food additive powder will make it even more dangerous to our health.
What about you, would you eat raw foods?? Or do you prefer cooked foods???

Raw foods are good for you, and i try to eat some everyday, i also juice fruits and vegetables everyday. a also eat raw nuts, and some greens (like spinach, or mustard greens) everyday. I also like to buy all my food organic, so i do not have to deal with all the additives, and pesticides that they use. I make my own butter and cheese from raw milk, and cream. that way i do not have to deal with the pasteurization, and homogenization that way i am getting all the vitamins possible.
i also get barnyard eggs, that way they are fresh and are not radiated like the ones you get from the store.

I can eat raw vegetables and fruit but not raw fish or meat. I prefer to eat cooked fish and meat to ensure that the bacteria or parasite on them killed in heat. Japanese or other Asian countries are used to eat raw fish but here in the Philippines we marinated it first in vinegar before we eat and we add some spices we called it here "kinilaw".

Over cooking of foods certainly leads to the loss of minerals and nutrients from it. But still we will have to trust on cooked foods. I love foods which are cooked to a moderate extent.
Apart from it,I love salads. I do take salads regularly.I like preparing my own salad dish.I like salad with some pickle relishes or peppers. And I just sprinkle with little bit of salt before eating some raw fresh vegetables like radishes, cucumber, carrots, cabbage and lettuces, onions, asparagus and a very fresh bitter melon. Its better to mix boiled eggs and potato with it mixed with mayonnaise.

As much I am trying my best to eat healthy, I just can't get myself to eat raw stuff. The only raw thing that I can eat is the KINILAW or KILAWIN. It's a Filipino Recipe that's rich in protein. Fish or Oyster is "cooked" in vinegar or any souring agent. It also has loads of chillies that it's just wonderfully wickedly hot with lots of ginger. It's light and refreshing and it's probably the healthiest food that you can eat when you're having booze.

I like them both. I can eat raw veggies or raw fish (well in sushi at least). I know that cooking certain foods takes out some nutrients, but I don't think its all that bad. I have learned that you should buy frozen veggies v.s fresh in a store. Something about how frozen foods are picked fresh and then frozen right away, which locks in all its goods. But fresh veggies at the store were picked, packaged, shipped for who knows how long and then delivered to the stores...So in that case its not as fresh as the frozen would be... Or so thats what I heard.
